Dr. David Lewis, MD

Dr. David Lewis is a board certified Anesthesiologist with subspecialty training in Pediatric Anesthesia.

Dr. Lewis completed his Anesthesia residency in 1992 at the University of California in San Francisco after 2 years of a surgical residency. He then went on to do a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia at the University of Washington. A graduate of Wayne State University Medical School, he obtained dual undergraduate degrees, with a BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a BSE in Chemical Engineering.

Following his fellowship training, Dr. Lewis joined the staff as an attending anesthesiologist at Oakland Children's Hospital from 1993 to 1998. He then joined the anesthesiologists of NCAA in 1998, now practicing both general and pediatric anesthesia at Washington Hospital in Fremont. He currently also holds a clinical faculty position at University of California San Francisco and also practices at St. Helena Hospital and John Muir Medical Center.

Dr. Lewis is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, California Society of Anesthesiologists, International Anesthesia Research Society, American Medical Association, Santa Clara County Medical Association, and the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia.

In his free time, Dr Lewis enjoys staying fit, cooking, and spending time with his wife and two kids.
